Vive l'automne! We love fall - its colors, its light, its smells. It is time to get ready to hibernate, to cozy up to the fire, to snuggle up. Rick harvested the last of his garden and I processed the goods in the kitchen. Great team work, especially with the help of our little assistant! We enjoyed the visits of many friends - David and Miriam, with their sons John-Paul and Gabriel, all the way from Australia; Pierre and Virginie; Ingrid and Dean. Alexa continued to settle in at school and enjoyed her first real Halloween. She and Francesco went trick-or-treating and, even though the French have not embraced that celebration much, came back with a bag full of various sweets and whatever our surprised neighbors could find in their kitchens..... click top right icon for full screen
