When I sat down to update the website for March, I was expecting just a couple of pictures and little to report but looking back at my calendar, I realize that once again, we were quite busy!!! Rick's business travel picked up and took him to the States (Denver, Chicago, Boston) for a week, including a weekend on the Cape to visit his Mom and 99-year old grandmother. He lucked out with gorgeous weather and enjoyed quality mother-son time (some, of course, spent shopping!). During that time, Alexa and I flew South to spend quality time of our own with Papi and Mamie Fixe (my paternal grandmother) in Agen and then in Toulouse with Mamina and Opa Hans. The weather was definitely warmer than the frigid temperatures in Marcellaz and we came back happy and warm from our visit with loved ones. Hotel Bohon was back in business! We were happy Marion and Séb took us up on our invitation and came for a long ski weekend. Our friend Pete drove down from London to empty our cave of his wines. We were happy to host him overnight but sad that, as I write this, he, his family and his wines are in Boston and no longer in Europe. And we cooed over Quentin, my 3-month old godson who came with his Mom and Dad, Laure and Fabien to meet us. It's amazing how time flies! click top right icon for full screen
