Needless to say, the temperature differential between Thailand and Marcellaz was somewhat of a shock! Snow men in lieu of sandcastles and a drop in temperature of 70°F ! Alexa put away her bathing suit, donned her parka and bravely faced the extremely low highs (often below 32°F) and regular snowfalls. A breathtakingly cold and gorgeous snowy winter which turns our trips to school and work into real adventures. A perfect time to initiate our little one to the joys of skiing. Along with a few of her local friends, Alexa began her ski "life" at the nearby ski resort Les Brasses (20 minutes from home). Our budding skier handled the whole experience with aplomb - following the instructions of the teacher and always remaining calm and collected through all the challenges! We wish we could include some of the videos for you to see for yourselves but I'm still working on that.....
